The clocking terminals module is there to have more control over who clocks where. This can be very helpful, especially at large shipyards. Workers on these shipyards have to walk large distances to get to their workplace and tend to clock in at the closest terminal to the entrance, when they are late. This way theywill not be shown as late while they still have to walk a distance to their workplace.

This is now fixed bu the clocking terminals module. You can select who can clock in and out at which terminal. This way you can prevent employees from clocking in at a station, and still having to walk 15 minutes to their workplace.

Setup in Floor2Plan

Firstly, you have to setup the correct settings in Floor2Plan. To do this, you have to go to application setting and click system administration. From there you choose “tables” from the list that shows up.

Another list shows up. Choose “Clocking terminal settings” and you can setup the correct settings.

Define terminal settings in Floor2Plan, settings should be correctly loaded & stored; please note: there should only be one line in this table

Registration process

The following pictures show what you see during the registration process of a clocking terminal. During this process the clocking terminal is being registered into the system.

When the Clocking terminal is starting up, the following screen will be shown:

On first time startup, the machine should make itself known to Floor2Plan and show a pin code

In Floor2Pplan, the terminal should be visible in the list of clocking terminals.

Enter the pin code in floor2plan, the table should now show the terminal as registration pending.

On the terminal press the "check registration" button, the terminal should now proceed to the configuration screen.
