The Basics

In Floorboard you can access the capacity dashboard of your department, simply by clicking on the Resource Graph [ 0 ] in the top navigation bar.

The Capacity Dashboard allows you to have an overview of your department’s capacity and gives you a perspective of the amount of your future work.

By default, the graph shows you all your department data starting from one previous week to 20 weeks in the future.

To get more specific data you can filter it by:

  1. Discipline
  2. Projects
  3. Unit type (in case we are not calculating all our work in the Hours, selected by default)
  4. Status
  5. Number of weeks previous to the actual one
  6. Number of future weeks
  7. Show aggregates will add to the graph the data of the organizations aggregated to your one.

Walkthrough

Open the the Resource Graph

  1. On the Floorboard Filters Page click on Resource Graph
  2. The page with your department’s capacity dashboard will open.

Filter the graph

Filter by discipline

  1. To filter the discipline open the dropdown menu
  2. Select one or multiple positions from the list.
  3. The graph will automatically update based on your selection.
  4. To remove the filter click on the little X next to the name of the selected filter.

  1. To filter the project open the dropdown menu.
  2. Select one or multiple positions from the list.
  3. The graph will automatically update based on your selection.
  4. To remove the filter click on the little X next to the name of the selected filter.
