List of content
To access the Gantt chart filters you just need to click on the filter selection button in the navigation bar and the Gantt chart filter pop-up will open up.
In the Gantt chart, you can select as many filters as you need. However, the Apply button is only available if you have at least selected one department or project in the column content filter. 🎯 Remember that you need to click the Apply button to see the changes in the planning based on your newly selected filters.
[1] Filter level: The levels scale allows you to filter tasks on the board by planning level. You can select more than one level and they can be easily identified on the Gantt chart table by the darkness of the blue row, from dark blue to white. The button level shows the color associated with each level.
[2] Completed: By default, completed assignments don’t appear in the Gantt chart table. If you need to view completed assignments, you must use this filter to add them to the Gantt Chart table.
[3] Next planned tasks: This is a unique customizable filter. It allows you to view past tasks and the ones that start within a period of “X” weeks. By default, the number of weeks is set to 6, but you can adjust this to your preference.
[4] Group by component: This filter helps you to visualize and locate each component and/or activity more easily by grouping them based on the components in which are contained.
[5] Show assignments: By default, the Gantt Chart table displays activities. With this filter, you can have a view of the assignments within each activity.
[6] Dependencies: This filter shows with arrows the relation between one or more activity’s predecessor and successor.
[7] Baselines: A baseline is the planned timeline reference within a project. This filter allows you to view the baseline of the projects (if defined) in the Graphical section of the Gantt Chart.
[8] Deviations: This filter shows the planning of assignments versus planning of the activities. After activating the filter it will show a line bellow the activity. The line is based on the Planned Start and Planned Finish of the Resource/Assignment. If the assignment doesn’t have those dates specified or they are the same as the activity’s Window Start and Window Finish, the deviation line won’t show up on the graph.
[9] Overrun: This filter displays on the Graphical section of the Gantt Chart the accumulated delay of each activity by comparing planned duration with actual progress. Delays are represented in red, with the end of the red line showing the task’s adjusted end date based on today’s date and the accumulated delay.
[10] Critical Path: The Critical Path is the sequence of tasks that must be completed on time to avoid delaying the entire project. This filter does not work alone; when you select it, the “Dependencies” filter is also applied. This filter allows you to see which activities can be adjusted (represented in blue) and which ones can not (represented in red) without risking the project's completion date.
[11] Free Float: This filter shows the amount of time you can move activities without causing any project delay. (This filter only affects those represented in blue in the Critical Path filter)
[12] Description: This filter enables you to see the description of each task in the Gantt chart’s graphical section, next to the line associated with it.
[13] Reschedule: This filter active allows you to reschedule some of the activities displayed in the Gantt chart simply by clicking and dragging its track. If the project is in Auto planning mode, all the related activities will be rescheduled based on the change made to the activity.
[14] Rollup: This filter groups all activities of the same component into a single line, providing a general overview in one line of all the activities in a certain component.
[15] Duration prediction: Its function is to display all assignments ordered by the department. This filter doesn’t work alone; when you select it, the “Show Assignments” filter is also applied.
[16] Reset: Instead of removing each filter one by one, you can click on this filter to deselect all filters in the panel. The reset includes the deselection of the Gantt chart navigation bar filters and column one.

Opens up the export project plan window; from there, users can create a pdf document for printing and exporting the project to MS project and PrimaveraP6.
The export window that can be seen in the figure makes it possible to export the project plan in different formats. With the window, you can export the project plan in a pdf. The project plan can also be exported as an xml file that can be imported by MS project. The system also has a PrimaveraP6 xml format that can be imported into PrimaveraP6.
If the AppSettings EnableGanttExportSelectionMode is enabled, we get to choose between export type: Default View or Current View. Check Export to PDF - Export types for more info

The button will reset the user inside the Gantt. Back to the current date, where the redline is.

This button will reschedule the projects that are currently in the Gantt chart. This means that the entire project gets rescheduled based on the optimization of the system. The button should only be clicked by someone who understands the consequence since the project plan inside Floor2plan will change. For further information, go to the link.

The circular arrow is a handy feature that updates the Gantt chart when a filter is added or an option is selected automatically. This means you don't have to click the apply after each time.

The apply button will refresh the Gantt chart based on the options the user has selected. The Apply button can be used when the project consists of large amounts of data that can take time to load. Therefore, changing multiple options simultaneously will not result in a refresh each time to only when the user has selected all the options.
The activities module has different views (TASKS, BUDGETS, or GANTT). When opening the module, it will show you the last view in which you worked. You can change it using the arrow next to the page’s name [1].
Use the Filter panel on the left to filter things like Department, Projects, and more.
[2] The Department is pre-filtered based on your department. If you belong to a group of departments or a top department with sub-departments, then they will appear in the list to filter from. In the displayed example, the user belongs to only 1 department, so only one option is available and automatically selected.
[3] Filter the Project by selecting one or multiple positions.
🎯 The Apply button is only available if you have at least selected one department or project.
[4] Click Apply to see the changes in the GANTT chart.
After selecting the project filter you will see more filtering options. The possible options will depend on the content of your selected project.
🎯 Remember that you need to click Apply [4] to see the changes in the planning based on your newly selected filters.

These filters allow you to select which data and how this will be displayed in the GANTT chart timeline visualization. You can decide to group the activities based on their planning level, you can select to see only the ones that start in a limited amount of weeks, see Dependencies, Baselines, add Descriptions, and more.
