List of content
In the Planboard module, all the displayed tasks are grouped into 2 categories: the Active ones and the ones In Production (or inactive).
The difference between an activity Active status and In Production one is that, the active status allows the employee to book hours on a certain task. Employees can access active tasks from different modules such the Hours and Progress and Timesheets.
The In production is the status previous to the Active. Tasks with In production status are not visible for the employee but are already included in the final project planning.
You can see the 2 groups when entering the Planboard in the main task list.
By default, in the upper section, you can see the active tasks that fit with the selected filters.
You can recognize active tasks because they show you the Task readiness statuses, the complete checkbox, and the allocated employees. Also, their color is brighter than the one of the Inactive ones.
The active tasks are sorted by their end date in chronologically ascending order.
The active tasks allow you to make different interactions. You can:

Inactive tasks normally are placed at the button of the main page section, grouped under the In Production section. They can be easily distinguished from the active ones for their color, which is less bright, and with some transparency. But also, they do not have the option to complete the task nor it is possible to allocate some employees to them.
The list of inactive tasks is filtered by start date in chronologically ascending order.
Tasks marked as Inactive are tasks of activities with the In Production status.

You can access directly to the inactive tasks, directly without the need to scroll, by clicking on the Inactive button allocated in the upper section.
