The Basics

The task tiles of the Planboard module display relevant information about the status of the tasks’ predecessors and the start date of the task’s activity.

Every task tile has a colored line, placed just before the discipline icon.

The different color lines in each task tile help to understand what is the status of that task. Below are the conditions for each color for active tasks:

• Red:
  • The predecessor task has not been finished.
  • The task start date is within 3 days or in the past.
• Orange:
  • The task start date is now or in the past and progress has been made.
  • The task start date is between now and 3 days into the future with no progress.
• Light blue
  • The start date is now or in the future and progress has been made.
  • The task starts between 3 and 21 days into the future and the predecessor task is done.
• Gray:
  • The start date is between 3 and 21 days into the future and the predecessors are not done.
  • The start date is 21 days or more into the future.

The same color statuses are valid for Active and In Production tasks.

The features are accessible to roles that have permission for the Planboard module.

This module belongs to Medium user type.

Requirements

• Have at least one created project with some tasks in it. Tasks activities should have different start dates and different predecessors statuses.

• The activity where the task is contained must have the status In Production or Active.
