<aside> 💡 The floorboard dashboard has been made with the supervisors in mind as a portal for them to find relevant information regarding the components their team is or will be working on. The dashboard is an information lookup broken down into a couple of sections.

Here you will learn how to filter and show the component that you are looking for. Additionally, you will learn what you can find in the Floorboard Dashboard and how you can use it.

The Basics

Floorboard Filters Page

When you enter the Floorboard module the first thing that you will see is the Filters Page. From here you can select a specific [3] component that you want to review or open another page [1] like Progress, Detail Planning, Resource Graph pages.

Above the available [3] Components list you can [2] Filters that will help you to filter Components that belong to a specific project or a group of specific components (e.g. section, block, assembly, workpackage, etc. )

To view a component in Floorboard module, it needs to fulfill the following requirements:

• The project needs to have the In Production status;
• Activities needs to have allocated resources and a level 4 or 5;
• The activities need to have a Progress lower than 100% and a status In production or Active
• The activities’ start dates need to be within a 6-week period from today's date

Walkthrough

Open a component

1. To open a component just select a desired Component tile from the list. After that will open the Dashboard page.

   You might work on multiple projects with a lot of components to choose from. In that case, see below how to use filters to find what you are looking for.

Filter a component

1. Select a project. The list of components will show now only the ones that belong to this project.

2. You will see in the filters the next structure type available that belongs to this project, in the example on the right it’s a Block.

   The list is based on the Structure Type defined for your department.

3. Next, you will see the structure types that belong to the previously selected element, in this example there are Workpackages.

1. There might be multiple structures to filter from. The number of filters will depend of the complexity of the project itself. The order of the selection of the filters depends on the Structure that was assigned to the user’s default department.
2. Once you find the component that you are looking for, click on the Component tile. After that will open the Floorboard Dashboard.

Clear filters

The filters that were selected change the color of the text and icon to blue

1. To go a step or a few steps back, just click again the filter type to which you want to go back.
2. To clear all the filters and see again all the available projects click again on the project tile.

Main Dashboard

View Files

1. Click on the thumbnail of the file to open it. After that will open the pop-up with the drawing.
2. To see more files, click on the button More Files. After that will open a pop-up with all the drawings, component images, and other files that belong to this project.

Add a File

1. To add a new file click on the button + Add
2. After that will open a pop-up with options. Here you need to select what type of file you will upload.
3. Then you can open a folder from which you want to select a file by clicking Select files… or you can drag and drop the files you want to upload.

Change the progress of the task
