The Basics

Status of the project

The status property represents in what phase the project is currently in. The selected status will determine how the system handles the project. The meaning behind the different phases is set in the system that is only available to admins. The following status is the default and can be different depending on the logic of your shipyard.

Acquisition: This means the project is in its beginning stage. The project is not visible in any of the other modules of Floor2plan. The status also means that it's not possible to write hours lines to any of the project tasks.

In Production: This means the project has started and work is being performed. The project is visible in all modules of Floor2plan and it's possible to write hour lines to the project task.

Ready: This means that the ship has been constructed, but some admin work is left. The ship will not appear in any Floor2plans modules and it's impossible to write hourlines to the project tasks.

Done: This means that the ship has been constructed and all related work is done. The project is still visible under projects, but it’s not possible to write hour lines or view the project in any of Floor2plans modules.

Archive: This means the project is over and will not appear in any of the Floor2plans modules.

Template: This means that the project is a standard project configured from a template. In this state, the project is not visible in any of the floor2plans modules and it's not possible to write hour lines to its tasks until the status is changed to in production.
